Kettlebell Class

The Kettlebell class is just that, a workout run with Kettlebells and body weight exercises in a small class setting. The Kettlebell movements students will learn in this class range from fast and dynamic to slow grind movements. Fast, dynamic kettlebell movements are meant to build explosive power, increase joint mobility, and keep an elevated heart rate. Slow grind movements (like Kettlebell lifts) are meant to increase total body strength, build muscular strength and stamina, and make you focus like no other exercise. Students will delve into bodyweight movements, which will give them an in depth knowledge of how their bodies are meant to work. We will also use static holds, which will help promote endurance in muscular strength. All of these exercises will help with overall body posture and positioning.

Bootcamp

Looking to get up and get your workout in early? Work hard? Have fun? Do some fun, yet challenging things? Then you should be in our Boot Camp class. There’s no limit on what you might do in the Boot Camp class; tire flips, sled pushes or pulls, sprints, calisthenics, kettlebell lifts, you get the point.

BURN

Interested in a class that will make your heart feel like it’s going to explode? Burn — an interval style conditioning workout (basically, intense cardio) — is that class.

We recently brought this old favorite back into our group class offering. The breakdown of this 45-minute class will be: 5-7 minute warm-up, 20-30 minutes of torture using all the fun toys in the gym to get your heart rate racing, and 5-7 minutes of a cool down (which may strongly resemble passing out on the floor).

Barbell & Strength CLASSES

It’s all about the Barbell. Well, mostly… your body has something to do with it as well. This class is meant to get you stronger, period. We will focus on the classic barbell power moves: Squat, Overhead Press, Bench Press, and the Deadlift. There will be appearances by other strength-increasing movements such as pull-ups and rows, and maybe a plank here and there, but the stars of the show will be those barbell power movements.

If you want to learn the barbell movements, get better at them, or just get stronger, this is the class for you.

Movement

Move is a class revolving around moving (we know, it’s an original name). This class focuses on the whole “Move Better.” part of our slogan. We will explore different ways to mobilize and stretch your body, then take the newer, more flexible you into some movement patterns. Crawling, rolling, rocking, bending, hanging, squatting, lunging, are just a few of the patterns. Where this will differ from any other workout is that we will be steadily trying to improve the way you move and the “workout” will happen because we’re improving your ability to move. This class can be a great alternative to Yoga or Pilates while still being its own original class.

Small Group Training

Capped at five people, these sessions are a step between personal training and group classes. They are the perfect solution for those looking for more personalized attention at a lower price point. Plus, you never know what new friends you might meet!
