As a trainer I focus on creating integrated and diverse training programs for clients that include cardiovascular, strength training and flexibility components. Core training is a speciality of mine and I incorporate multi-joint exercises that help strengthen the body through its natural movement patterns. Not to say abdominal specific movements don’t have their place, but I like to utilize total body movements that integrate the entire core. As well as working in the gym setting, over the last few years I have been broadening this knowledge as a trainer by studying therapeutic exercise and working with patients at Walter Reed Hospital.
I have a BS in Health and Physical Education, am a Certified Personal Trainer(NASM), a Certified Medical Exercise Specialist(AAHFRP), and Certified Massage Therapist(NMTI).
