Functional Fitness VA

The Kettlebell class is just that, a workout run with Kettlebells and body weight exercises in a small class setting.  The Kettlebell movements students will learn in this class  range from fast and dynamic to slow grind movements. Fast, dynamic kettlebell movements are meant to build explosive power, increase joint mobility, and keep an elevated heart rate. While slow grind Kettlebell lifts are meant to increase total body strength, muscular strength and stamina, as well as a focus like no other exercise. Students will delve into bodyweight movements, which will give them an in depth knowledge of how their body was meant to work. We will also use static holds, which will help promote endurance in muscular strength. These exercises will all help with overall body posture and positioning.

Prerequisite for attendance to a class is at least one introductory session with a Functional Fitness VA trainer to develop a basic understanding of the movement patterns for the core Kettlebell lifts.

Introductory session (1-time item, explained above): $64

Class Drop in rate: $20 for a single class
Class Package rate: $128 for 8 classes ($16 per class)
